The City of Hope executive leadership commissioned a team led by Jensen + Partners to develop a master facilities plan for their 100-acre Duarte campus establishing a programmatic basis for campus capital development over a five to sixteen year horizon. Jensen + Partners initiated the project and organized a team of expert engineers, cost estimators and other specialists. The team’s work was organized around seven areas: clinical and scientific program, administration, physical planning, infrastructure, information technology, and parking. Jensen + Partners provided healthcare strategic planning and program management for the study, facilitating an intensive workshop series which led to Board approval of the project. Jensen + Partners provided program management for the Perkins + Will designed Beckman Cancer Immunotherapeutics and Tumor Immunology Building. In addition, Jensen + Partners developed a Science Park plan on a thirteen acre parcel, researching and meeting with regional companies involved in cancer therapeutics and scale-up manufacturing, and organizing the selection of a Science Park developer.
