Carolyn McIntyre

Carolyn brings to Jensen + Partners a strong background in healthcare construction management, with particular expertise in California OSHPD projects and hospital licensing and accreditation requirements. She has a proven track record of project delivery with a critical focus on budget, schedule, and safe operations. Her experience includes medical offi ce buildings, cancer centers, emergency departments, surgical and imaging suites, major healthcare renovations, and complete replacement hospitals.

During a UCLA career over twenty-five years, Carolyn led facilities, real estate and construction planning for the University’s academic medical center, community hospital, children’s hospital, psychiatric hospital and ambulatory care services. She served as the medical center’s general services and facilities manager, including responsibility for both new projects and major renovations. Having been responsible for all aspects of environment of care in her management role, Carolyn understands critical infection control, life safety, general safety, security and Title 24 issues and recognizes when proposed design conflicts with these requirements. She serves as a key asset to the client’s team in planning for project transition into fully functioning clinical operations, bringing knowledge of healthcare support services, physical plant maintenance, safety, security and environmental services.
